Poyan Reservoir (Chinese: 波扬蓄水池) is one of the four reservoirs located in the Western Water Catchment of Singapore.
The reservoir was previously part of a river Sungei Poyan and its delta, which was dammed to become a reservoir. Sungei Poyan emptied into the Straits of Johor.
It is now part of SAFTI Live Firing Area, which has restricted access even when live firing in the reservoir is taking place. The public can access through Jalan Sungei Poyan, from either Old Choa Chu Kang Road end of Lorong Danau. As such, these roads are unpaved, and you can't get out of the place. Very near to Poyan Reservoir, because it is part of SAFTI Live Firing Area, it houses two military places. One is 201 Squadron and Poyan 300m Rifle Range. National Shooting Centre is a public place.
